American GI Forum is a congressional recognized 501c19 Veteran nonprofit. We bring veterans and civilians together to support veterans through Supportive Services and advocacy. Bexar County is located around the city of San Antonio.

Community Response Team

CRT analyzes needs in the community and coordinates resources to fill those needs by building collaborative relationships. Our focus is community building to multiply forces.

Support and Defend

Civic Engagement

Support and Defend (S&D) is an organization of San Antonio area veterans created to engage veterans with the civilian community, introduce the community to military life, and to discuss the Constitutional use of the U.S. Military.

TSEU is local #6186 of the Communication Workers of America that represents workers at state agencies and public universities, advocating for fair pay, better benefits, and increased funding through grassroots campaigns and legislative lobbying.
